How Journaling Plays a Role in Manifesting the Life of Your Dreams
By: Kathleen Cameron
There was a time in my life when I believed money came from effort alone, from hours worked, from credentials earned, from proving my value over and over again. I was living from what I could see and what I thought I had to do in order to be worthy of more. But everything began to change when I began to understand the power of identity, the power of thought, and the power of choosing a reality before it had fully materialized. That is where my Abundance Journal began. This was never just a journaling practice for me. It was a decision. It was a daily moment where I chose to stop reacting to my current circumstances and start aligning with the life I knew was available to me. Journaling became one of the most powerful tools I used on my journey to millions.
Why I Started the Abundance Journal
I started this practice because I noticed how easy it is to think from your current circumstances. If money feels tight, you think tight. If business feels slow, you think slow. If life feels uncertain, your thoughts often mirror that uncertainty. I saw how often people write from stress, write from pressure, write from what is not happening yet. And while that may feel honest, it also keeps your attention anchored to the very thing you want to move beyond. I wanted my writing to do something different. So I began using my journal to connect with the version of me who was already living in abundance. The version of me who felt secure, supported, powerful, and deeply available for more. I was not writing to describe the life I had, I was writing to align with the life I was creating. That changed the way I thought, the way I felt, and the way I showed up.
What My Daily Writing Practice Looks Like
Every day, I open my journal, and I write from abundance before I begin moving through my day. I write in the present tense. I write as if the wealth, the opportunities, the impact, and the expansion are already here. I let myself feel its energy as I write. I do not focus on whether it has arrived yet in physical form, I focus on becoming a match for it internally. Money flows to me in expected and unexpected ways. My writing reflects the people I am serving, the growth of my business, and a life filled with overflow, ease, support, joy, peace, and possibility. I am not sitting there hoping my life changes. I am training my mind to normalize abundance. That is why this works so powerfully.
Why This Practice Changes So Much
Your subconscious mind responds to repetition. It responds to what you impress upon it consistently, especially when emotion is involved. When you sit down every day and write from abundance, you are no longer rehearsing stress, lack, or delay. You are rehearsing wealth. You are rehearsing expansion. You are rehearsing the emotional state of already having what you desire. Over time, that begins to feel normal. And once abundance feels normal, you stop pushing it away. You stop questioning whether it gets to be yours. You stop acting as if it belongs to someone else. You begin to receive differently because you have started to see yourself differently.
This Is About More Than Money
Yes, this practice supported me in manifesting millions. But the greatest gift of the Abundance Journal was not just financial growth. It was the internal transformation that came with it. It helped me feel powerful before the evidence showed up. It helped me feel supported before everything made sense. It helped me fall in love with the version of myself who no longer needed to beg life for more, because they had already decided they were available for it. Money became a result of that identity. That is why I love this practice so much. It is not just about wealth on paper, it is about becoming a person who embodies wealth, peace, trust, and overflow from the inside out.
My Final Thoughts on the Abundance Journal
If you want to change your financial reality, start by changing the energy you bring to it every day. Your journal can become a sacred space where you stop repeating old conditions and start choosing a new identity. That is what I did. I used my writing to align with abundance, to normalize wealth, and to connect with the version of me who was already living at that level. This daily writing trick was never just a habit. It was a becoming. And for me, it changed everything.
