Great Spots to Celebrate Halloween in Toronto

The city’s most bewitching bars and restaurants are summoning guests for a Halloween like no other. On Ossington, No Vacancy stirs up three limited-edition, hauntingly delicious cocktails (think Luxardo, Hennessy, and Ardbeg magic) that showcase the best of Toronto’s craft cocktail culture. In Little Italy, Ficoa conjures a one-night-only three-cocktail tasting flight from its Mixology Spellbook, moving from bright and spiced to rich and smooth. Meanwhile in Liberty Village, Lyla Toronto transforms into a Haute Halloween Soirée with a live DJ, custom cocktails, a digital photobooth, and a midnight costume-contest finale. Adding to the excitement, No Vacancy and Lyla Toronto will be streaming the 2025 World Series on Friday, pairing playoff energy with Halloween spirit. From elegant to edgy, these celebrations promise a Halloween night as dazzling as it is delicious

Ficoa

Ficoa, the Neo-Latin fine dining restaurant in Little Italy, is marking Halloween with a one-night-only three-cocktail tasting flight designed to capture the spirit of the season. Available Friday, October 31, the $45 flight (exclusive of tax and tip) offers a focused showcase of the restaurant’s talented team, with bar lead Brendan McFarlane and chef Esau Garcia showcasing culinary-forward cocktails with refined techniques.

The flight includes three original cocktails from Ficoa’s Mixology Spellbook menu:

Zorro Toro — a clarified sour with rye, Licor 43, lemon, orange bitters, and cinnamon, finished with a red wine float.
Marigold — a tequila and turmeric penicillin built on blanco tequila, ginger, and honey.
King Maiz — a sweet corn White Russian that replaces cream with a plant-based corn version, paired with vodka and coffee liqueur.

Together, they form a progression that moves from bright and spiced to rich and smooth, echoing the restaurant’s broader approach to flavour—rooted in Latin tradition, expressed with a modern sensibility.

Led by house mixologist Brenden McFarlane, Ficoa’s bar program mirrors the precision and creativity of the kitchen, where Executive Chef Esau Garcia continues to evolve the restaurant’s Latin-inspired direction.

The Halloween cocktail flight will be available one night only on October 31st from 5 p.m. until close.

Reservations for Ficoa can be made HERE.
