Arthritis Society Canada’s fourth annual Fashion on Fire will raise critical funds for arthritis research and support programs.
Style and purpose will ignite the runway on Thursday, May 29, as Arthritis Society Canada hosts its fourth annual Fashion on Fire, an unforgettable evening of fashion and philanthropy. Taking place at Arcadian Court in the Simpson Tower at 6:30 p.m. ET, the event promises to be a celebration of accessible design and resilient women.
Fashion on Fire: Raising Awareness Through Style
Presented by Co-operators and Shoppers Drug Mart, Fashion on Fire raises awareness for the 1 in 4 women in Canada living with arthritis, a debilitating disease that affects 6 million people nationwide. More than half of women with arthritis are under 65 and face challenges with balancing work, families and daily responsibilities, all while coping with chronic pain and limited mobility. For these women, adaptive fashion that is comfortable and stylish is a necessity, not a luxury.
At the heart of Fashion on Fire is a dynamic runway show featuring models living with arthritis, showcasing adaptive and inclusive designs that prove style can be both functional and fabulous.
