Cristina Carpio is a Canadian media personality, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with over a decade of experience in the media, hospitality and lifestyle industries. Throughout her career, Cristina has worked with a diverse array of top brands, creatives, and contributors across Canada and she has produced content for some of Canada’s leading network. She has also appeared as a Lifestyle Expert on numerous national morning television programs.
Cristina brings a wealth of expertise in marketing, brand strategy, content creation, and event management, having worked on large-scale, memorable experiences for both corporate and entertainment brands. Her most recent role was as host of CTV Morning Live, a live, three-hour morning show on Canada’s leading network. With an extensive background in media, travel, and hospitality, Cristina has also hosted a travel series airing on Amazon Prime and Roku channels. In addition to her work on television, she has contributed articles to various international platforms, written a column for Food and Beverage Magazine, and emcees some of Canada’s most notable food and entertainment events.
Cristina has taken on the role of Editor-in-Chief at Evolve Media Group Inc. (EMGI), a digital publication company offering both free lifestyle content and “boutique-style” media services for lifestyle brands and professionals. Under her leadership, EMGI aims to amplify Canadian brands and voices, promote diversity and inclusion, and provide resources to help people live their best lives.
Throughout her career, Cristina has received numerous accolades, including being named to Top 40 Under 40 by Business Media Link Group, winning the Hero of Business Award from the Canadian Multicultural Council-Asians in Ontario, and receiving the Service Award from the Universal Peace Federation. In 2023, she was nominated and included in the prestigious Top 50 Canadian Immigrant Awards and was awarded the Queen’s Jubilee Pin for her outstanding community contributions. Cristina is an active advocate for the Asian community in Canada and has spent nearly two decades working with non-profit organizations and underrepresented communities.
