The five-star Toronto hotel to unveil an array of sensational culinary and wellness experiences in celebration of the Toronto International Film FestivalTM, steps from the TIFF Red Carpet
As the Toronto International Film FestivalTM (TIFF) approaches, the city of Toronto is set to celebrate cinematic excellence, welcoming top talent from around the globe. Situated at 181 Wellington St. West in the heart of the Entertainment District, The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto invites guests to immerse themselves in the festival’s vibrant atmosphere with exclusive culinary, beverage, and wellness experiences from September 5th to 15th, 2024.
The 49th edition of TIFF returns stronger than ever bringing a stellar lineup of films and events to the city. To complement this excitement, The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto has curated a series of unique experiences.

The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto is delighted to unveil an array of highly anticipated activations designed to enhance the TIFF experience. These curated experiences promise a perfect blend of luxury, flavour, and relaxation, ensuring guests enjoy every moment of the festival.

Culinary and Beverage
Throughout the course of the festival, The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto welcomes guests to discover its new state-of-the-art culinary creations at its restaurants TOCA, EPOCH Bar & Kitchen Terrace, and the new cafe and wine bar concept LANO opening just in time for film festival. TOCA, EPOCH and LANO, along with the hotel lobby and in-room dining, will be home to some of the hotel’s much-anticipated festival food and drink offerings developed by The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto’s expert team of culinary professionals. Lobby Activations (morning + afternoon):
- Healthy Juice Shots: Start your day with a refreshing and revitalizing selection of healthy juice shots including the Green Ranger with Liquid Chlorophyll, Carrot Ginger Ale with Turmeric, Strawberry Watermelon Mojito with Liquid Collagen, Pineapple Paradise with Spirulina and Ripe Berries Lemonade with Acai. Morning, daily
- Afternoon Canapes: Enjoy light afternoon bites of specialty canapes including Prawn Eclair, Tomato Tartare, Tuna Tartare Cone, Macerated Figs, Steak Tartare and Tortellini Di Bresaola. 4pm daily
EPOCH Bar + Kitchen Terrace (open until 2am on weekends and until 1am on weekdays):
- Afternoon Tea’’FF (Special TIFF-inspired Afternoon Tea): Relish a unique afternoon tea experience inspired by the festival, with menu highlights including Lobster Rolls, Foie Gras & Smoked Salmon Terrine, Peach & Mozzarella Vol Au Vent, Sachertorte, Maple Pumpkin Caramel Tart, Yuzu Lemon Meringue Cake and Apple Caramel Choux. 2pm-3pm Daily
- TIFF Menu Specials: Savour exclusive menu items crafted to celebrate the spirit of TIFF, including Bromakase (6-course tailored menu experience by Chef Jeff Crump featuring Wagyu, Uni, Hamachi and EPOCH favourites), as well as Pizza Specials and Cocktail Specials. Available daily
- Macallan Flight: Enjoy a curated flight of Macallan whiskies, a true delight for connoisseurs. ● DJ Nights: Groove to live DJ performances on September 8 (Thu), September 9 (Fri), and September 10 (Sat).
TOCA (lunch served until 3pm and dinner until 10pm):
- Champagne Breakfast: Start your day with a luxurious champagne breakfast. ● TIFF Menu Specials: Indulge in special menu offerings celebrating the festival including antipasto (Tuna Cylinder), pasta (Beets & Gorgonzola Doppio Ravioli) and an entree (Truffle Stuffed Chicken Supreme). Truffle and Caviar add ons are also available.
- “Cinematic Cuisine, Flavours of Film” Chef Table Experience: Delight in a 8-course menu with wine pairings, with each course inspired by an iconic film such as Jaws (an amuse of Carpaccio di Ricciolia al Lime con Pesca Latticello e Olio Verde), The Godfather (Salsiccia,
Melanzana e Mozzarella, Classiche appetizer), 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (Polpo Alla Griglia con Risotto) and more, available for groups of 10 or more.
- TIFF Inspired Brunch: Start your day with a luxurious brunch featuring a TIFF Benny Log, Uova All’Amatriciana, Wagyu Steak and Eggs and More. Saturday and Sunday, 7am-3pm ● Cheese and Wine Pairing Experience: Enjoy a daily pairing experience at 4pm.
