There is a good reason to look forward to the Autumn/Winter season with Geox. The happy partnership between the Italian brand and Penélope Cruz will continue to expand with a brand-new project for the upcoming season. The new GEOX Capsule Collection developed by Penélope and Mónica Cruz will hit Canadian stores on September 19, 2024.
The Spanish actress and her sister are back with a Collection of Footwear and outerwear that brings to the forefront the outperforming qualities of Geox products while channelling joyous colour and stylish vibrancy. It’s an aesthetic triumph where Mediterranean verve fuses with an urban contemporary edge, featuring brand-new cuts that can’t be resisted.
The overarching theme of the Outerwear Collection hits a sweet spot between sustainability and elegance. The designs are comfortable yet feminine, cocooning and contemporary.
Particularly worthy of note are the materials and colours, as is evident from the muted-grey longline faux-fur coat which will prove to be a key piece for the first chills of fall.
Also introduced is a padded reversible cape; silver on one side and an energetic animal print on the other with a stylish three-quarter sleeve and a rounded hood. It’s the perfect final touch for inspired outfit building.
Finally, the longline vest with an interwoven pattern will instantly refresh any repertoire. This modern-looking piece has been filled with a recycled material, a nod to Geox’s commitment to sustainability.
The footwear part of the Capsule Collection features the hi-tech Nebula 2.0 Sneaker, with a perforated sole and breathable waterproof membrane.
Penélope and Mónica’s take on this style comes in three different hues which range from a classic black to warm autumnal cognac and browns. The sisters’ spin on sneakers makes superb use of material contrasts: nappa and patent, nappa and suede and metallic detailing.
The campaign was shot in New York by the creative duo Hunter & Gatti, curated by the M&C Saatchi agency of Milano.
