New venue, 45+ designers and experiential installations for Fashion Art Toronto’s 1664 Fashion Week Fall 2024

City’s biggest multi-arts fashion week returns from November 14th to 17th

Toronto’s prominent multi-arts fashion platform Fashion Art Toronto today announced details for Fashion Art Toronto’s 1664 Fashion Week Fall 2024, running from Thursday, November 14th through Sunday, November 17th. Taking place at a new downtown venue T3 Bayside (251 Queens Quay East), the city’s most avant-garde fashion event will present dynamic runway shows from 45+ Canadian designers, provocative fashion presentations, experiential art installations and a massive retail shop alongside stylish entertainment including a 1664 Bar, chic lounges, DJs and photo opportunities.

Tickets to Fashion Art Toronto’s 1664 Fashion Week, including weekend and day passes, VIP front row tickets, single show tickets and student tickets, are now available online.

“We have a spectacular new downtown venue for Toronto’s Fall fashion week event with 360 degree views of the city skyline and Toronto’s waterfront. We are filling this gorgeous modern space with runway shows, installations, art, shopping and more to surprise, intrigue and entertain Toronto’s dynamic fashion community,” said Vanja Vasic, founder and executive director, Fashion Art Toronto. “There is so much to explore and discover this season – we have more Canadian designers, artists and makers participating than ever before! It’s going to be an incredible four days of disruptive experiences from this country’s creative talent who are pushing boundaries and moving fashion forward.”

Fashion Art Toronto is excited to announce that the winners of its inaugural FASHN DISRPTR Awards, launched in August 2024 to support Canadian designers, VveyagoSuburban Deviant and PROCESS VISUAL will present innovative collections on the runway throughout fashion week.

Fashion week’s opening night (Thursday, November 14th) will see buzzy runway shows from Evan BiddellNarcesSuburban Deviant, as well as the highly anticipated group show featuring the Myles Sexton Breakout Talent Awards winners Jacqueline BradicaHouse of Dwir, Lindsay King and sixnineosixCanadian model, creative director, stylist, HIV/AIDS activist and Queer fashion nomad Myles Sexton teamed up with Fashion Art Toronto this year to launch the Myles Sexton Breakout Talent Award to elevate emerging Canadian fashion brands and designers.

On Friday Nov 15th, the official beer of fashion week Kronenbourg 1664 will debut its 1664 Fashion Week Iconic Accessory Showcase, an initiative created to promote Canada’s young and emerging accessory designers. This year’s designers StudioMemaPortia J. AlightPhoenix Ba and Imago Millinery will share their vision of “Good Taste with a Twist” during a dynamic group runway show.

Off the runway, guests will experience captivating fashion presentations from RéELLESons of Man and ZOFF, as well as stylish art installations from Desitita By MohitLUNARAMaya SkarzenskiNick MerzettiTia KureshiTristan Réhel and Vessna Perunovich, among others.

Canada’s authority on all things fashion and beauty, FASHION Magazine is proud to partner with Fashion Art Toronto and to engage Toronto’s trendsetters with an experiential Atelier pop-up offering a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look into designers Vveyago, Suburban Deviant and PROCESS VISUAL and their newest collections.

Premium beer brand Kronenbourg 1664 returns as title partner of Fashion Art Toronto’s 1664 Fashion Week. The official beer of fashion week in Toronto, 1664 will bring good taste with a twist to Toronto’s fashion community by engaging guests with brand activations, photo opportunities, product sampling, exciting contests and more. To satisfy hunger, Toronto catering company and fashion week’s official culinary partner Kanvas will be on-site serving up gourmet bites for guests to savour between shows. Beauty partners NYX Professional Makeup and Lithe Beauty are providing their professional quality makeup and lashes to amplify runway looks.
