Prince Edward County’s Newest Social Spot

the Vic Social, features dining, dancing and retro vibes. The Vic Social offers elevated diner classics from breakfast, lunch and dinner with a late-night menu on Fridays and Saturdays. The Vic Social brings together tourists visiting the county and locals alike for a unique experience designed to take patrons back to the 70s, 80s and 90s. With retro-inspired games, a dance floor and modern bar, there is something for everyone to enjoy at the Vic Social.

Prince Edward County’s newest social spot, Vic Social, is pleased to announce its official opening to the public at 166 Picton Main St, Picton. Located in the heart of Picton, the Vic Social is destined to become a new favourite in The County, as the Vic Social takes ownership after the previous Vic Café closure while building upon some of The County’s favourite things like the milkshakes and infamous tater tots.

Inspired by the nostalgic feel of the 70s, 80s and 90s, the Vic Social brings together the best of these decades to bring a retro vibe to The County. Spanning a total of 3200 sq ft of mixed indoor and outdoor space, the Vic Social can seat 200 guests at one time. The indoor space is reminiscent of an old-school diner but features an upscale dining space with booths along the interior, a classic high-top bar with stools, white and black tiled flooring throughout, and an open dancefloor space in front of a large record player print. With navy, white, and black accents throughout, along with a red neon sign stating, “You might as well face it…you’re addicted to love”, the space has a nostalgic feel while still maintaining a sleek, elevated design. On the exterior, there is the best of both worlds, a covered patio and an open-air patio with picnic tables, muskoka chairs and retro games such as foosball, connect four and cornhole toss.

With ingredients locally sourced from around The County, the Vic Social’s menu features elevated diner classics such as an 8 oz Vic burger, white truffle parmesan fries and over-the-top milkshakes with the option of making it a boozy shake. Classic breakfast items like crispy chicken and waffles, eggs benedict and a kid favourite from the previous Vic Café, the sprinkle pancakes, are here to stay. For drinks, guests can enjoy a selection of classic cocktails and the best wine and beer selection from around Prince Edward County. “This concept is something that Prince Edward County has yet to see. In the heart of Picton, we now have a destination for people of all ages to dine, dance and play”, states Gary Wilson, Owner of the Vic Social. “I’m excited to see all the locals and tourists come together at the Vic Social and make new memories!”

Visit the Vic Social Sunday through Thursday from 8 am to 10 pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 am to 2 am with the addition of a late-night menu and dancing until close.
